Cool Races I've Run
While I've run a bunch of races, these are the ones that really stand out as being cool or unique.
- Chicago Marathon: My first marathon!
- Philadelphia Distance Run: This has probably been my favorite race to date -- beautiful course, running with lots of friends, my parents being there, getting to see my sister run her very first half marathon the day before her 30th birthday. Couldn't have been more fun.
- Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Half Marathon: My first half marathon.
- Wild West Relay: In 2006, some friends and I completed the Wild West Relay. Check out our pics from the race.
Training Schedules
Some training schedules I've come across that have been helpful.
- Half Marathon Schedule: the schedule my sister used in DC Fit when she trained for her first half marathon
- Marathon Schedule: the schedule I used in DC Fit when I trained for my first marathon
- 50-Miler Schedule: a schedule I found in Runner's World magazine
